Attention! PPTP protocol won't be supported by Astrill after 1st January, 2021.


STEP 1 - Login to Astrill Website

  1. Login to Astrill website, click on TOOLS tab.
  2. Under the TOOLS tab, click on view servers button.

STEP 2 - Choose a Server

  1. You will see the list of servers, and then choose the server of your choice e.g. GTX1.ASTRILL.NET.

STEP 3 - PPTP Client Configuration

  1. Open Tomato web admin, and then navigate to VPN Tunneling
  2. Then choose PPTP Client section (http://192.168.1.1/vpn-pptp.asp).
  3. For Server Address type in GTX1.ASTRILL.NET.
  4. For Username type in your Astrill account email.
  5. For Password type in your Astrill account password.
  6. For Encryption select None from drop down list.
  7. For Accept DNS configuration select Yes from drop down list.
  8. For Redirect Internet traffic tick the checkbox.
  9. For Create NAT on tunnel tick the checkbox.
  10. For MTU select Manual from drop down list, then type in 1400.
  11. For MRU select Manual from drop down list, then type in 1400.
  12. When you are done click Save button below, and to start VPN connection click Start Now button.




STEP 4 - Check your IP

  1. After 10 seconds of clicking on Start Now button you can check your IP address on (https://www.astrill.com/what-is-my-ip).
